Beijing Motor Co., Ltd(hereinafter referred to as BAIC/ BAIC MOTOR), was established on September 28, 2010 and listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange main board on December 19,2014 (stock code: 1958.HK). It provides a platform of resource aggregation and business development of passenger vehicles for BAIC Group.
with business scope covering the R&D, manufacturing, sales and after-sale service of passenger cars, and the key parts production, and automobile finance etc.

The company has released ESG reports strictly following the listing rules ever since 2016, which comprehensively disclosed its achievements, highlights and ratings in performance of corporate governance, green development, product liability, employee entitlement and social welfare activities in the form of combining company goals, visions with practical cases. Targeted at persistent improvement of the governance framework and the management efficiency, the company integrates the sustainable development concept into the operational management and decision-making, constantly rectifying and completing the sustainability management system and strengthen the sustainable managerial skills.
Under the guidance of the sustainability management system, the company reached significant achievements in both ESG management ability and governance effectiveness in 2023, obtained recognition of capital market, and won the "2022 Wind ESG Best Practice Award” both in HKEX consumer discretionary industry and among Hong Kong listed companies respectively. Related cases have been elected into the "Blue book on Environment, social and governance (ESG) of Beijing state-owned holding listed companies".
In 2024, BAIC Motor was elected “Top 10 cases of ESG report of Beijing state-owned holding listed companies”, indicating its long-run practise of sustainable development strategy received wide acceptance of authorities and the society.
